the dope at the scope
5 stars for the 2nd set. Mean Scarlet-Fire. Eyes is short but fierce. One of my favorites. NFA shreds.

Less hiss on this one. The Millar board contains the entire show but to my ears has more hiss then this one. It gets 4 stars because I loved the show then and now. Just simple Dead not the mdid stuff of the later years. And thats not a knock on those who love the later years we all went to the shows we went to and have a fondness to those years

Finally a great source worthy of a truly great show
Yes it's only the 2nd set but this is quite possibly the BEST, at the very least most UNDERRATED 2nd set of the entire 1982 year.
all it's ever needed is a killer clean SBD source and this is the one!
Unbelievably bouncy, loose, jammy SCARLET>FIRE and unlike most EYES of the 80's all speeded-out and rushed, this one is a return to the relaxed, jazzy jam form of the '77 vintages...the NFA out of space is insane and winds up for a full 3 mins + before the 1st verse and the STELLA drips w/beauty.
5 stars for set and source, easily.
